Wayne Ernst

Over the past 30 years, Wayne has accumulated an extensive knowledge of all facets of the construction process. From his experience in the military to managing one of the largest shell contractors in the state, he has formed a strong foundation of teamwork, integrity and excellence. These values are at the core of Ernst Construction, and are what drive our team to fulfill our mission of setting the benchmark industry wide.

Wayne's proactive approach to every project helps to ensure the Contractor’s success as well as the success of other trades on the project. We work together to identify potential issues before they happen to keep your project running smoothly, on time, and on budget. 

Kevin Roach  

VP of Operations

Kevin Roach has worked in every position within the shell construction industry. Working his way up after beginning in the field, his unique experience brings an unparalleled ability to find solutions when plan errors, designer changes, or difficult building situations arise. 

  Bill Daly

VP of Construction - South Florida 

With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Bill Daly brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to his role at Ernst Construction. His journey in construction began after attending college and serving in the U.S Air force, where he developed a strong work ethic and exemplary leadership skills. Outside of work, Bill is a health enthusiast who enjoys walking, biking, and going to the gym. He is also an avid investor and dedicated caretaker. 

Jon Dye

Vice President - East Coast 

Jon Dye brings with him over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He spent over 15 years at Rinker Materials, while leading the creation of the Masonry Association of Florida's apprenticeship program. He then spent 6 years at Willard Brothers Construction as the VP of the Central Florida Region, where he built 952 units in 2006 alongside many other members of our team. He then spent 8 years managing turnkey structural framing, siding, doors/windows, and interior trim packages in Charlotte, NC. In his last role, he was a managing director manufacturing high-end luxury millwork. In his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his family, offshore fishing, and other outdoor activities. 

  Jeff Roach

CFO 

 Jeff is a veteran of the US Army with decades of experience in the accounting industry. He holds a BSBA in Accounting, is an IRS enrolled agent, and licensed real estate broker. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities of all sorts with his family. 

Dutch Holt

VP of Operations - West Florida

Dutch opened a construction supply division specializing in structural components in 1995. He worked closely with industry leaders to train field personnel on the proper installation of these components. This company quickly evolved into a multifaceted, vertically integrated company that supplied total turnkey shell solutions to national and local contractors. The parent company boasted a pre-manufactured wall panel plant, truss plant and lumber distribution center.  Dutch was instrumental in the implementation of SOP's, QA Programs, OSHA training and procedures, as well as employee policy manuals. Dutch's extensive knowledge of the construction process allows him to see   possible plan and design deficiencies in advance of he project start and offer VE and design solutions. 

Personally, Dutch enjoys fishing, playing guitar, and is a certified road racing instructor. 

Chip Bradley

Construction Manager - South Florida

Chip Bradley has been in the Construction Industry for over 20 years and takes pride in always working his way up into a leadership role. He is an avid outdoorsmen and has coached little league for over a decade. 

Steve Demeree

Central Florida Construction Manager - Custom Homes

Steve Demeree, one of our longest standing employees, has over 25 years of experience as a superintendent. Since starting at Ernst Construction, he has built over a million square feet of custom homes in Central Florida's most exclusive communities. 

Jeremy Thompson 

Central Florida Construction Manager - Production Homes 

Jeremy Thompson has over 30 years of experience in the Construction Industry. After attending trade school, he spent a decade as a homebuilder before working in the shell industry.  Personally, he has coached youth football and baseball winning multiple state titles. 

Tucker Ellis

Central Florida Construction Manager - Commercial Construction

Tucker Ellis has rapidly become a valued part of Ernst Construction. He has extensive CIP and Structural Steel experience and boasts the completion of side by side 40,000 Square Foot Custom Homes. At home, he is a little  league softball coach and outdoorsman. 

Mike Reed 

Senior Estimator

Mike Reed has been a part of many different trades during his time in the construction industry, beginning as a carpenter and moving into roles as an Iron Worker, and eventually owning his own business doing Hambro Decks and Beams before going into supervision and finally into estimating. 

His diverse experience in the construction industry 

gives him great expertise when creating estimates, and the ability to identify many plan issues at the estimating phase. In his personal life, he has been an active coach for youth football and basketball and enjoys traveling, camping, music, and golf.
